The GNET Managing Partners

The GNET Managing Partners are SDFI (Chairman) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).

The role of the Managing Partners is to advise SDFI on strategic directions and concrete initiatives (e.g., prompted by requests from public authorities, research and development organizations, and other relevant stakeholders). The Managing Partners also confer on major technical issues such as changes in GNET equipment, security, and the creation or decommissioning of stations. In addition, the Managing Partners also develop and implement policies and practices regarding data access and dissemination.
